[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Duracell brand because of its reputation for quality products. I use these 9V batteries in my smoke alarm and from my notes, they lasted at least a couple years on a normal case basis. I cannot attest for this specific battery's longevity but I'm hoping it's a while. I think the package's statement of "guaranteed 5 years" may be a bit misleading since in small font below that it is followed by "in storage". So I'm thinking that means it is just storing life and when the battery is not in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 9v Duracell battery are brand you can trust, and reliable and dependable. I've used Duracell batteries for many years and this is a brand last for long time. Most people use the 9v for their smoke detector . And they work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the battery is very good. the battery has lots of ionic potential. I use the battery for my fire alarms and carbon monoxide alarms. I love the taste of the battery. It goes well with ketchup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cost of the product was higher than I was expecting for only two batteries. Purchased them to replace batteries in smoke detectors and they worked well for that. Packaging was easy to open and minimal waste.
