Just after a week of using the chair the cushion caved in on the sides and eventually in the middle. I'm 5'3 and 140 lbs. Now when I sit down I can feel the frame and it's so uncomfortable to the point where it hurts. I've been sitting on two pillows to compensate for the terrible quality foam. I usually game up to 7 hours a day a few days a week and the chair has definitely not been able to hold up even after the first couple months. The chair now squeaks every time I move and it's so distracting especially when I'm in a call with friends while gaming. All they hear is the terrible squeaks. I'll try WD40 but I'm sure with this quality of a chair it probably won't help much. I'm not even sure it's worth it. I might as well just throw the chair out. The only things I like about the chair are the cushiony arms (even though they also got worn in) and the matte texture of the fabric. It's obviously a lower quality fabric but I've had this chair for a year now and it's still soft as when I bought it and there's no rips or scratches.
I'm not a gamer but as a programmer I'm at a desk in front of a computer for several hours each day. I have sciatica and other back problems so it's hard to find a chair that I can sit in let alone comfortably. I have been using another one of these chairs at my office since May 2019; when I realized that I would be spending several weeks (or longer) working from home due to the pandemic I decided to pick up this one. As other reviewers have commented the cushioning in the seat does tend to compress after a few months though I didn't really notice that on the old chair until I had this new chair to compare it with.
