Bought for son. He's happy. I did notice the casting marks on plastic parts. Casting molds are not very smooth. Casting molds getting old? Or just lack of craftsmanship? Probably the latter; made in China.

This is an awesome chair. Very sturdy and comfortable. It also has arm rests that swing up and back to move out of the way and not bang into the desk. So regardless of the desk or chair height you like to maintain you don't have to worry about having a good fit and working close to your desk without damaging the side of the desk. Very happy with this purchase! Highly recommended.
