I am working from home since Covid hit. My old chair was giving me back ache. I got the Emerge gamers chair as I am sat for a lot of my work day. The chair took about 40 minutes to assemble and the only issue was getting the spring to adjust. after opening the spring knob to its full setting and sitting on the chair leaning back was the spring able to function correctly. Otherwise I have had the chair a couple of weeks used very day for 8 - 10 hours finding it comfortable and functional all the time.
During assembly I noticed a small (1/4") cut in the seat covering on the underside of the seat near the front-center of the seat. The assembly instructions were simple and easy to follow. However when attaching the seat back to the seat bottom (Steps #5 and #6) after the arms had been attached to the seat bottom (Step #4) it was difficult to position the seat back between the arms to align the attachment holes of the arms with the seat back. I think it would be better to attach the arms to the seat back first and then attach the arms to the seat bottom. Doing Steps #5 & #6 first and then Step #4 would be easier than the order of steps in the instructions. I have now had the chair for 7 days and have noticed that the padding in the arms has shifted to the outside of the arms and not as supportive to my arms. In all fairness I use the chair around hours a day while doing computer work. Even so I think the other features of the chair like the lumbar support are very good.
Opened it and inspected the arm rests. Paint is chipping off. It looks like it was painted with a rattle can the quality is really bad. Not worth it’s price.
