I am at a desk most of the day and this works for me. Regular desk chairs have fixed arms I needed one that allows the arms to be moved out of the way.

Not good for working

I briefly sat on a floor model of this in the store and thought it was pretty comfortable so ordered one to replace my uncomfortable desk chair. Assembly was typical of an office chair not difficult and it felt comfortable on first sit. However the recline on this chair is way too steep to actually work at a desk. After one day my back hurt worse than it ever has from an office chair due to having to lean forward to reach my key board leaving my entire back unsupported. I knows this is a gaming chair and not a desk chair and maybe it is indeed a lot more comfortable for that purpose but I do not advise purchasing this for desk work. Though I did really appreciate that staples let me return it fully assembled and without the original box - that was super convenient.

I use this chair for computer work at my desk sitting for 6-8 hours at a time. I have found the chair to be very comfortable for my stature (5"2' 150 lbs.). Assembly was relatively easy but I recommend putting the wheels on last instead of first as the instructions suggest. It made it difficult to attach the back of the chair with it rolling around and laying it down didn't make it any easier. It would be easier to put together with 2 people - one to hold the chair/parts the other to attach the screws. All parts and tools are included so no need to worry about have a screwdriver handy. Some people have mentioned that the padding collapses and the leather material becomes dented. I had this in one of the armrests. It was resting against another piece in the box and the padding was indeed "dented". After massaging the padding and working it back into place I was able to get the dent out of the leather but the padding is significantly softer in that spot. Generally great chair!
