The tilt back is not like most and requires a foot rest to function. I'm very handy and have assembled numerous chairs this one was much more difficult. Not a great design. I'm using this in a deer blind so it will suffice but I've purchased others from staples that were much better units at similar or lesser pricing.

We purchased a floor model so we did not need to assemble. We have not had it long thus the 4 star vs a 5 star rating. We really like it. It is comfortable and easy to adjust settings.

The chair is very comfortable and built well. I highly recommend. When my wife saw the chair I had to buy her one. The price was outstanding for the value. If you put this together what I do is not tighten the arms in the seat all the way. By doing that you will have the necessary play in the arms when you attach the back.
