Six weeks after purchasing this chair the piston (allowing the chair to go up and down) started to sink. After calling the purchased protection plan (asurion) they indicated that i should call staples support. After calling Staples Support they logged the call and told me the manufacture will send the part. I received the part with no tools to remove the piston from the failing chair. A very difficult process. So after 6 weeks of use it is broken and i require to find a repair facility to install the new part. Very poor customer support selling a defective product. And by the way if you get a emailed receipt the bar code is not printed the REQUIRED bar code which this "protection plan" vendor needs to process a claim ! So word to the wise get a paper register receipt!
Seat stitching was already coming apart out of the box and the arms don't fold up all the way. I sit in the chair all day while working from home and its comfortable. Good chair for the value when its on sale. Not confident on the durability but wasn't spending extra on the protection plan.
This seems to be a nice comfortable chair. Though it took some time and great effort to put it together. The instructions are pictures and they do not speak for themselves. I think it would have been easier if the instructions had said to attach the arms to the seat and then attach the back to the arms - using the lower screws to pivot the back into place. Then hold the back in place by attaching the two remaining screws through the upper holes of the arms and into the back. I hope these instructions may help some of you assemble this very nice chair. Finally spend considerable time tightening all the screws.
I’m a curvy plus size Black woman who has to sit at a desk for 8 hours 5 days a week. The chair stopped my back pain and allows for my thighs to not be smashed together. Super comfortable i could sleep in this chair. Easy to assemble as well with clear instructions and didn’t take long.
