I bought this chair for my 85-year-old mother who likes to quilt. She needs to go up and down in height from sewing machine to cutting table and have an easy to wheel around chair. This chair came highly recommended on a Quilting Facebook page so I purchased it for her for Mother’s Day. When it came I was able to put it together without too much trouble and was just too excited to wait until Mother’s Day so I gave it to her early. She loves it! Every time she sits down to quilt she tells me how much it helps her get around. The hydraulics are easy to use the chair is extra Padded and comfortable and it wheels very easily. It is also very sporty! Great value.

Don’t really care for it. The angle of the seat is wrong it forces you forward rather than back. Had I sat in it for more than 1 minute at the store I probably would not have purchased it.

I am 5'7 female on the larger size and the problem with many racer-back type chairs is that they have a bucket seat that are raised on the side and not comfortable for wider thighs or if you like sitting any way other than legs together feet flat on the ground. This chair is relatively flat while still being nicely cushioned and is comfortable in ways most racer-back chairs are not. I love it. I also like to pull my leg up to sit sometimes and the position of the arm rests are great for this. The arm rests are also cushioned and mildly adjustable. The back comes up to about the middle of my head which is comfortable for leaning on. I did buy an extra lumbar support pad as I sit in many different ways and it helps sometimes especially with all the working from home we've been doing with COVID. I can easily stay in this chair all day. Also the Staples protection plan is awesome and covers anything you might be worried about.
