I received a gray bottom and red/black back. I was in the middle of moving so I wasn't going to take it back for that but seems odd that there's no QC for that. The chair itself is not difficult to put together unless the holes do not line up. I felt like I had to really "force" the chair to line up. I'm not confident that it will hold but we will see.

Not used for gaming but for my desk for computer work. Replaced the wheels with rubber ones - rolls better. Have to keep a rolled blanket at the front of the chair as I keep sliding out of it. But - it's much more comfortable than the chair that I replaced and was the most comfortable chair that Staples had available. It's supposed to have a tilt lock but haven't figured out how to work that yet - would help with the not feeling like sliding out of the chair. I'd recommend it - some of the issues are just because I'm so short! It's comfortable so I'm happy.
