Daughter loves it - very smart looking and more important very comfortable! Very pleased with this purchase. Would buy another is it was sold at the same price - but this time - I would be issued a coupon for an additional 20 percent off... have two in college so every penny counts. The other twin would like to have one too.
Bought one of these for my son for Xmas for gaming. It was so comfortable I bought one for myself as a desk chair.

cheap bolts have snapped off in less than one year

This is might be the worst purchase I have ever made. Delivered on July 8 2024. About eight months later a bolt securing the back and left arm rest to the seat snapped off. I tried using a bolt extractor for the remaining piece but it is completely stuck in place inside of the chair and cannot be removed (thus cannot be fixed). Yesterday a bolt on the right side snapped off! I weigh about 180 pounds. Now I cannot return it and I have no option but to throw it out after not even 10 months of use. I would only recommend this chair if you enjoy wasting time and money and like being scared to death when you lean back on your chair hear a loud snap and feel like you are about to fall back on your head. If that's not for you maybe try something else.
With the COVID shutdown there was a need for an office chair and a move from hard dining room chairs to something more appropriate for hours-long work sessions. This "gaming chair" is available in black and grey and that color scheme works well as an office chair. It is far more comfortable than the chairs we had been using and compares well with very high end office chairs until your work session gets a bit long. Definitely need to take breaks. The discount they were having at the time made it far less expensive than many of the economy chairs. It really was a great deal. Assembly was simple enough but it does require a moderate amount of strength to press parts firmly against cushions without scratching the leather against the rough metal frame all while keeping the parts steady to insert bolts. While most people will not have an issue with this I could definitely see this being a two-person job for someone frail or elderly. The chair is comfortable to sit in - mostly - but after many hours the bolster at the front edge of the seat and the padding at the rear of the seat can be fatiguing. Bruised feeling leg circulation cut off. Too much pressure felt in both areas for very long sessions. Short ones you won't notice. It makes me appreciate the very high end mesh-hammock style office chairs we have at work. But particularly at the sale price I don't think you could do better in a traditional style chair. Personally I recommend seeking and purchasing the "rollerblade style" rubber wheel replacements that are available online. They are slightly larger *softer* and smoother-rolling than the basic plastic wheels that come with the chair. That might run you another $20 but very worth it. For our hardwood floors it's the difference between safely rolling around versus scraping the hell out of the floor with awkward little plastic wheels. I would imagine the replacement wheels would also roll better and leave a less severe imprint in carpet... but for us the protection for hardwood it's a must. Yeah we could put down a plastic mat but that's just so... no. Looks awful and winds up causing scratches under and around the pad. Just no. By the way - if you are going to get these wheels do NOT install the ones that come with the chair. I don't know if they snap or lock into position but I don't think you really want to be prying these out of the chair's plastic sockets. Seems like a good way to crack something. Just leave them off until the nice wheels arrive. If you time it right they can arrive the same day.
