Comfortable but flawed

The chair was quite comfortable and functioned well - until it started wobbling and making a grinding noise when tilting. Unfortunately it has a design flaw with the tilt mechanism. The tilt axle rides in plastic bushings that wore out completely and cracked after about 1 year. For reference I'm about 225 pounds. Maybe if you don't tilt or weigh less you'll get more life out of it. Now whatever warranty it has is pointless because the flawed design will keep leading to breakage. And 3rd party replacement tilt mechanisms won't help you because the hole pattern on this is smaller than normal.

It was easy to assemble and very comfortable with great back support. The wife feels it is too mobile which I like. We have it on a plastic wood floor protection sheet. Quality Canadian materials.
