The seat pitches forward enough to feel like you will slide forward. I resigned myself to buy 1 1/2 inches if washers to lift seat front up. I was disassembling old chair and saw it was same design but had spacers in front seat holes to level off the seat. I used the spacer in new chair and works fine. It's called leather but in reality is leather finely ground and bonded to fabric. I figured this was the case with the price point. Comfortable I like the high back.
The chair is trendy with its gaming appeal. It seats very well and goes well with the desk I have. Since having this chair I find myself using it more than any other chair in my house.
The chair is very comfortable and worth the price. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was for the lack of cushion in the lumbar region. I added a small pillow to sit at the small of my back. Otherwise I am very happy with the purchase. Cushy chair and arms fold up. Chair also adjusts up and down easily for height.
I purchased this chair thinking it'd be a solid basic buy..one week in the arm bolts are stripped and the metal base has rickety off kilter rocking action/squeaks that no amount of strategic WD-40 application can fix...NOT HAPPY .
I am 5’9”and on the lowest setting my feet are just flat. If someone is shorter than me then this chair may not allow you to rest your feet flat on the ground. Also I wish that they would do a better job aligning the screw holes. You really have to struggle to get all screws started.
My husband loves his new chair. Good support for his back surgeries. He likes it better than the Lazy Boy chair that he had. I'm so glad Brent recommended it. We also like the black and gray. Looks great. He likes the arms that lift up if needed. Thanks Staples in Monroe MI.
