Good quality easy to assemble and comfortable. The flip up arms are a real convenience. I see this as something of a disposal office chair that will last a while but I di not expect it to last years and years.

I puchased three of the Vortex chairs taking advantage of the sale. I made a pleasant trip from Asheville to Forest City to get the purple one as they ran out of that color at the Asheville store. Very comfortable chairs. We used two in the living room watching TV when we had a guest this week.

This chair lets you spend hours sitting without getting stiff or sore. Very comfortable and I like that the arms lift up out of the way if needed. The arms are also padded which is a big plus for me. The quality is very good.

Bad Quality Control

For the price of this chair you'd think simple things like the paint on the arms and the cushions wouldn't have any strange folds in the leather and would be of decent quality. It's not. The paint that is on the handles looks like they were painted with spray paint and has several rough spots where it seems like they held the spray can too close to it. If you look closely it looks like someone tried touching the armrests while the paint was still wet. There is over spray on the underside of the wheelbase. The stapling holding the cloth is irregular and inconsistent. The leather overhang that is supposed to hide staples is sloppy and looks like crap. Lastly the "leather" that you sit on has weird and abnormal creases. The chair was manufactured on November 21 2021 ordered on june 13 2022 and delivered and assembled on June 16 2022. I don't know if this specific chair just slipped by quality control or what but cosmetically this chair is awful. But it is quite comfortable despite the cosmetic imperfections.

I received my gaming chair a day early. Took company that does assembly a week after delivery to set up an appointment for the following week. Be prepared to wait. Never saw a disclaimer by staples.stating that it could take almost two weeks before would be complete. So if you in a rush may want to make other arrangements. Customer service very friendly.
