I purchased this chair for my son this weekend and it is a considerable upgrade from the last one. It appears to be a lot more comfortable and durable. He really likes it.
cheap bolts have snapped off in less than one year

This is might be the worst purchase I have ever made. Delivered on July 8 2024. About eight months later a bolt securing the back and left arm rest to the seat snapped off. I tried using a bolt extractor for the remaining piece but it is completely stuck in place inside of the chair and cannot be removed (thus cannot be fixed). Yesterday a bolt on the right side snapped off! I weigh about 180 pounds. Now I cannot return it and I have no option but to throw it out after not even 10 months of use. I would only recommend this chair if you enjoy wasting time and money and like being scared to death when you lean back on your chair hear a loud snap and feel like you are about to fall back on your head. If that's not for you maybe try something else.

This is good for the money. Very comfy not to expensive at least on sale think it was around $139. Has some squeeks and clicks could be a little annoying but again for the $ it doesn't bother me. There are some loose threads and wonky tolerances but not noticeable once it is assembled which is very easy for one person no help needed. This is actually much more comfortable than a much more expensive office chair which it replaced. Looks good too not too uber-gamey but not too stuffy a little sporty. I went for the black-grey but the white looks pretty hip.
It is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was the fact that the arms line up with my desktop so if I want to type a message I am a little too far away from my desk. The arms are a little high for me anyway so an adjustment allowing for the arms to be lower would be a nice addition. Currently what I do is to swing the arms up to get closer to the desk A little more seat padding would be nice for us people with tailbone issues. I'm thinking about getting one for my work office but I think I'll wait another month or two before deciding just to make sure.
