Great customer service helped get me this comfy gaming chair in blue and black for my daughter. All they had in store was red or white but the gentleman in the store ordered a blue one for her and had it shipped to our home. The store manager even followed up to make sure we were helped. We love our local Sierra Vista Staples.
Overall the chair is comfortable and all the parts were there for assembly. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the parts. The legs of the chair had significant deep scars in the plastic that had been painted over by the factory. The arms of the chair had 'orange peel' and other paint patters showing contamination of the surface before paining. These type of blemishes were not evident in the sales model at the store.
Only gave four stars because doesn't go low enough arms lift up and out of the way but wish I could adjust the height of them in the down position. Have always had chairs with mesh backs and didn't realize this solid back would prevent air circulation.
Looked and felt great in the store. When I began to put the chairs together at home I began to see the poor workmanship and lack of quality. At first I thought perhaps it was the chair I got but I bought 2 of them and they both have common issues. Fitting holes not lining up and necessary to manhandle it to get things to fit. On top of that multiple scuffs scratches and nicks in the finish. The gloss paint finish also had rough mat patches where the paint clearly wasn't applied properly. Also be careful as where they stapled the fabric many of the staples were protruding and had sharp corners that would have caused injury if someone wasn't being careful. I was able to hammer them in and rid the chairs of sharp objects. Once the chairs were together still an Ok chair as long as you can overlook all the blemishes in the finish.
