I bought this for my 14 year old son. It was easy to put together and he seems to like it. My 17 year old likes it too. This is the first gaming chair for our household so I assume that only time will tell how well it will hold up for hours of online gaming (or online school currently but we're hoping online school goes away soon). This chair looks good and I felt it was a very good chair for the money according to my comparison shopping.
I instantly felt back tension relief as soon as I sat down in this gaming chair that was on sale at Staples. I definitely recommend it and the assembly was pretty simple just follow the instructions and line up the holes and insert the screws and tighten using the included all’s wrench (which was a little longer than traditional Allen wrenches).
Well. It was a little more complicated than I thought it would be to put it together. The upholstery and the cushioning covered the holes. I think it would be most helpful to state in bold letters at the beginning CLEAR ALL FABRIC FROM THE SCREW HOLES and DO NOT TIGHTEN DOWN ANY SCREWS UNTIL THE ARMS ARE IN PLACE. There are little tiny letters about the tightening but no warning about the fabric getting in the way. It is a comfortable chair. The directions indicate the height adjustment arm under the seat to be on one side but the holes drilled in my chair seat were on the opposite. I am getting used to sitting in a regular chair rather than on an ergonomic stool.
