The chair offers a comfortable extended sitting experience. The chair is classified as a gaming chair but do let that stop you from giving the Emerge Vortex chair a test sit down. The chair fits the body very well and the substantial lumbar area is a good feature. The arm rest offered a good design and comfort for me but each person will have to assess what works for them. The color selections are not dull and if the chair is going into an office environment like the two I bought the gray chair with black accents or the black chair with gray accents can fit many office environments. I rarely purchase a protection plan but I did end up getting the 3 year protection plan. I thought it was a good value and offered a wide amount of coverage.

Takes two to put it together and could use better lower back support

This chair is very comfortable and well made. It is difficult to get the seat and back assembled. Best to put the arms on loose then attach the back. We used knitting needles to align the holes.

Tension on the back is much tighter than the store display even after adjusting it many times.

I love the chair at this point but I do worry a bit about the material. I had a previous chair that was made with bonded leather (pleather) that started peeling apart after a few years.
