The chair was assembled by an expert sent to me by an Assembling Furniture company that deals with Staples. The assembler was very courteous professional and cleaned up the area after the chair was completely functional. This chair is very comfortable compared to the secretarial chair I’ve had for the past 22 years. It was comfortable when I first purchased it. But over the years it has worn out that comfortable factor. So I went to staples and asked an associate to show me desk chairs. There was a large variety of them. But the associate informed me that the Vortex chair was the most purchased one especially for people who use it for more than the usual time upon it I am very happy with it.
The problem with gaming chairs is that they are terrible for gaming. Ergonomic mesh chairs with back recline (as opposed to the entire seat rocking back) are pretty much the right solution for everyone - gamers desk jockeys executives etc. That said if you’re going to get a gaming chair you could do far worse than this one. I have the green variety which no longer appears to be listed on staples.com. The best advice I can give to anyone who buys one of these chairs is DO NOT FORGET THE CHAIR COMES WITH A 7 YEAR WARRANTY!!! And they do honor it! I’ve had the chair for two years. Like many others mine went together crooked. It took two rounds of replacement parts to get it set right. But now it’s great. This is the included manufacturer’s warranty btw not the extended one that costs extra. Make sure you guys are taking advantage of this great service. They are very friendly and helpful and despite the fact that they’ve basically sent me about two and a half chairs at this point it’s never cost me a dime. In closing regardless of which chair you choose I highly recommend Staples for office and gaming chairs. 7 years of free service and parts is nothing to sneeze at.
I did some research prior to purchasing the chair and even spoke with the young sales lady at Staples who apparently does gaming and got really good reviews. So I bought one. OMG! First and foremost while the assembly instructions were clear the placement of several of the screws to attach the arms and the silly little allen (hex) wrench provided were an abysmal failure. Almost impossible to get the bolts started because the seat material and padding occlude the opening and you can't see what you're doing regardless. Ok once assembled it looks pretty good but it took less than a day for the seat padding to flatten out and become extremely uncomfortable for more than an hour or two. I weight 215# certainly within the limits of the chair and If I had any options I would return it today.
I really Like the Chair it is the most Comfortable chair that I have sit in for a long time now and I would NOT trade it for anything tried others and so this 1 beats them all. You say this chair is a gaming chair but I don't play games that much so I use it as my computer chair love the chair
