assembling it was much harder than you might think from looking at the diagram in the instruction book. It tells you to attach the arms to the base and then tighten them down but if you do that you can't properly seat the back of the chair in between the arms. You have to loosen the arms - but not too much or they'll fall off - first before you can get the back of the chair properly seated. The booklet should have said this but didn't thus causing needless frustration and time-wasting.
