I type for a living as a legal transcriptionist so long hours in a chair and good posture are vital. I didn't realize how "bad" my other chair was until I got this one. It is very comfortable and has really good back support.

Gaming Chair for Home Office

We are using it as a desk chair in a small home office. We wanted an ajustable chair with a high back. This chair "ticked" all the boxes. It is great for the price. Now we"ll see how it "holds up" as it is plethera (spelling?) rather than leather.

Some positives & negatives
on March 2, 2022

03/03/2022 I just got my Emerge vortex gaming chair. I chose to save $60 & assemble the chair myself. Whoever wrote the manual must be part monkey.. It took me several attempts at assembling the back rest to the arm rests due to the instruction manual instructing you to 1st assemble the arm rests to the sides of the chair. Once you install the arms it's impossible to slide the back rest in between the arms for assembly. So to save you some time & excessive frustration I advise you to 1st install the arms to the back rest & then install it to the sides of the seat. Assembling took me about 30 minutes. I had to use my pliers to help assist in turning the Allen wrench. The screws fit awkwardly into the holes & it was difficult to turn without the assistance of pliers. Now onto my 1st impression once the chair is completely assembled & I sit in it for the 1st time. The seat itself is very cushioned & very big. So if you're a bigger person then this chair has plenty of room. There's nothing jabbing into my butt thighs or my sides. My personal dislike about the chair itself is that the back rest leans too far back. Even in the locked position with my back against the back rest I'm leaning too far back & it doesn't allow me to sit up comfortably with the back rest fully supporting my back. I'll have to purchase some kind of back support that can fit onto the chair so I can feel more supported while sitting up correctly in the chair. The arm rests easily maneuver up & down. I pull them up so the chair fits under the desk. Overall the chair is about a 75 out of 100% for quality.
