A little pricey but the comfort and relief my son has experienced has made it worth the purchase. While listed as a gaming chair my son uses it to attend virtual school 7+ hours a day and his back was killing him before purchasing this chair. Easy assembly.
I use this chair as a general work chair working at a computer. Really comfortable and durable. My only "next time" consideration is getting a chair with adjustable arm-rests. As-is it doesn't quite fit under my desk.
This chair was easy to assemble and is very comfortable. The only problem I had was I ordered online for in store pick up and it said 1 chair in stock so I drove over to the store to pick up and that 1 chair was a demo model and not for sale. Nothing to do with the quality of the chair but just the inventory system.
I bought this chair to replace the standard desk one that I had been using since I've had a bit of an uptick in playing games on my PC and using the standard chair was causing some aches and pains. I've used it for a few weeks now and it has to be one of the most comfortable desk chairs I've ever used! Even when I'm not playing a game this chair has helped me sit more upright and has helped maintain my focus on tasks while doing them. The only complaint I had was the assembly. Like most desk chairs these days this is not a one person job. You'll definitely need someone to help attach the back of the chair to the arms. Otherwise this chair was a great purchase! It wasn't as expensive as some of the other chairs and it's helped me out.
The Staples Emerge Vortex Bonded Leather Gaming Chair is very very comfortable. It appears to be well made (I weigh 180 pounds) and the adjustments for seat height and reclining are simple and easy to use. I've only had this chair for one week so I currently do not have an opinion on the long term quality of the faux leather. As with many things that will likely depend on how much the chair is used and how it is handled. I indeed recommend this chair which by the way goes on sale periodically. Look for the sale in the Staples "weekly ad" the sale price doesn't always show up when simply searching store inventory.
