3 Years of Heavy Use What to Expect...

I bought this chair 3 years ago and have consistently used it for a minimum of 10 hours per day. I work from home and use this chair during work which is where the 10hrs of sitting per day comes from. I also use it while gaming and just sitting in general so actual usage is often much more than just the guaranteed 10 hours per day. My one complaint with the chair is that all of the foam in the chairs seat and armrests is crushed flat now. The backrest also has most of its foam crushed except for the headrest area. It is now providing much less support and comfort to the rear and lower back than before. I have a seat cushion that I have placed over the seat and a soft blanket draped over the back to make up for the crushed foam. It is actually painful to sit in now for extended periods(>45mins) without the added cushioning I put in place. Positives: - No peeling of finish on materials/leather/coatings etc. - Sturdy I am confident the chair will never structurally break from normal use - Stable good center of balance will not easily tip over - No missing parts - Easy to assemble with clear instructions Cons: - Crushed foam (became a problem at 2yrs) - Very minor cracking only on the perimeter edges of back and seat. Not anywhere your body would be in direct contact with while sitting. (became a problem at 2yrs) - Has gotten progressively more squeaky over time much more so during my 3rd year of owning but this is to be expected with chairs that are assembled this way. (became a problem at 2yrs) If you have a cat it will very quickly shred the leather materials just from climbing up and sitting on top of the backrest. Though it was very cute at first. Note this will hold true for most every leather chair I just happened to recall this experience as I was writing this. Now take into account I probably use this chair a lot more than the average buyer would so don't let me scare you away from it. It is an all around good chair for the price point. I have and will continue to recommend it to others. I am currently looking to purchase a new chair however I will not be purchasing this chair for myself again. Just as a note that some people might find helpful I have consistently weighed between 170-195Ibs for as long as I have owned this chair.
I bought this for son because he broke the last chair. And I don’t like seeing him do his work on the bed. He was so excited.it was easy to put together. We only had a hard time with the back because we had to line up the holes. We need two people for that part.
Gaming chair maybe and so much more! Very versatile!

Verified Purchase:Yes
Great chair for my husband's work shoo! He can flip the arms back and get up under a bench if needed. Or they can support his arms if that is what the job calls for. Great options for sitting positions and very comfortable. Gaming chair is what you call it but outside that box it is so much more!
The back of the chair feels as if its curving and snuggling nicely behind your back. The arms are tall enough to rest comfortably while at your desk and out far enough you don't feel squished in. The seat is pretty comfortable as well.
Not very thrilled. My bigger son's chair started to peel almost immediately. Cracking and separating at seams. Both chairs showed severe wear almost immediately. I would not purchase again as both were very disappointing being they are gaming chairs and should expect to be used for such. Both chairs are not holding up. Very disappointed and am so sorry I cannot recommend at all. Wouldn't buy again but will do more research into finding a more durable chair that could last at least one year
