Very comfortable great support for back. This chair is bigger than the previous chair that was used at the sound console. The area that we have at the console is a little close. With this chair it does make it a little tight for the video person to get pass the chair to his chair. It was still a good buy!!

I couldn't sit in the chair for more than a few minutes without it hurting my lower back. The chair seat is not long enough to fully support your legs and the chair puts stress on your lower back. The arms are too high for anyone who is not tall and can not be adjusted - just moved out of the way completely. I gave the chair away to a younger family member. Also it is really hard to connect the chair arms to the seat because you can't see what you're doing well enough to get the screws in.

I give the Emerge Vortex Bonded Leather Gaming Chair five (5) stars because: it provides support for my lower back and buttocks arms and shoulders; it is well-built and should last a long time; it slides well on my 36” x 48” plastic chair mat; it was fairly priced by STAPLES. While I am not a “gamer” (I am 77 years old) in my opinion this was the best chair in the STAPLES chair selection. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-built solid office chair at a good price.
