After putting it together I found the chair comfortable as I hoped. Only problem is that in using it while typing at a desk the arms are too high getting in the way of a comfortable typing position. Solution: put either one or both of the arms in the up position while typing.

While the chair was very attractive and seemed to be well made it was extremely uncomfortable. It has absolutely no built in back support and it is not made for use for any extended time. So I returned it for a different brand with more support .

4 stars for this chair. 5 stars for their Customer Service. My chair got a broken wheel mount after 3 months. I did not have the extended warranty but this chair comers with a 7 year manufacturer warranty. I had lost my receipt but the store I bought it from furnished me a copy and I set out to call Staples customer care. The lady I talked to said they were out of the chair replacement base but had me hang on hold for 5 min. When she got back on the line she said "I'm shipping you a new chair get rid of the old one! 2 days later I get a new chair! Its comfortable and since I play guitar and do home recording I like the fold away arms. (Which is what sold me on this chair in the first place) I took the new chair base and filled the empty spaces around the wheel mounts with hot glue to give them more support. So far so good on the new one. I would recommend this chair.
