This chair is decently solid and comfortable for a very agreeable price. After trying out a host of different office chairs I found that this one had some of the most sensibly positioned (if a bit mild) lumbar support. The padding is soft and the pleather seems decent enough. The headrest is sufficiently soft without angling forward so it doesn't force hunching or slouching. The materials seem like they were selected for cost efficiency but are reasonably sturdy and they seem to work well for their purposes. The design is simple but sound and the comfort clearly beat several much pricier office chairs as a result.
