Within a day of use the padding of the chair is affected as my adult son often "kneels" on the seat. Where he kneels the padding is noticeably indented and seems to be permanently so. I have an extended warranty on it and maybe could use it but because of the unconventional way of sitting it probably would happen again on a new chair. He is fine with it. I just think it doesn't help the look of the chair. It functions fine.
