I will be honest these chairs remind me of PJ from the movie Grandma's Boy. Believe me I AM a nerd. I've been a gamer since I was born in the 80s. I was the kid everyone called to fix their TV VCR whatever other tech they owned that they didn't understand. I work on the internet for a living. But these chairs? THESE chairs make me cringe and I've always referred to them as robot chairs. Yet here I am giving it a 5 star rave review. After getting a job that's primarily work from home I knew my two year old $30 IKEA chair wasn't going to cut it. I searched everywhere to try to avoid getting a robot chair. However this was the only one that fit within my price rage that had a rating of 8+ hours of sitting time with amazing reviews. So I decided to give it a try. If it was horrible then I'd take it back. No big deal. Turns out after more than 20 years of sitting in crappy desk chairs this is hands down the most comfortable chair I've EVER owned or used at previous jobs. I got the purple because the color isn't too bold and mostly doesn't show up on virtual conference calls. I would have gotten the gray one but it was $40 more at the time. BONUS: The arms fold up so I can play my guitar while sitting at my desk without the need to sit on the edge. of the seat Other guitar oriented chairs cost $400+.
Not only did I get 2 chairs but they were on Sale! So I saved $300. They were easy to put together and are so comfy! I use it for work and play and they are very appealing on the eyes too! Thanks Staples!
