When the chair is brand new it is great! but within 6 months the seat has gone flat and I have had to replace due to a wheel breaking and a weld on the tilter broke both manufacture defects. Aside from that The chair is great.
The chair is solid and fairly easy to put together although the cheap plastic makes it difficult to line up properly at times. Good cushioning. My problem is the seat itself is sooo big. Not only wide but long. You feel like you are being pitched forward all the time. You have to set yourself so that your back is ALWAYS touching the back of the chair or else you will slide toward the front of the seat. I had to buy a separate footrest so that I can prop myself up. This might not be an issue if you are over 6 feet tall but most of us are not. I wish I did not pay so much for this chair because I would just throw it away.
Our young gamer had been trying different chairs from various retailers and then saw this (in blue) sat in it and couldn't stop talking about having one of his own. We got a great price online for store pickup - saving $50 from what was marked on the floor - and it does everything as advertised: height tilt and arm rest adjustments. I wish the arm rests were narrower but our son doesn't care and the overall chair is quite comfortable. The chair we got was new in the box but shipped with some random oil-like staining on the seat and seatback cushions in a few places. They mostly came out from cleaning except for the seatback one but again our gamer isn't picky so we kept this item and didn't ask for a replacement. It is "gassy" after unpacking so we left it overnight in the cold garage and the next day it had almost no "new car smell" odors anymore. I saw a couple reviews which panned this chair for tilting forward . . . we accidentally installed the seat cushion backwards which causes that condition. Removing the chair arms and turning the cushion the correct way resolved the issue completely.
