This is a pretty cool lamp. I like how we can change the colors and set a timer. It’s light and easy to assemble. I wouldn’t pay full price but if you can get it on sale it’s worthwhile.

My Perfect Bedroom Lamp

I chose the basic floor lamp over the otherw because I prefer the base of the lamp to be easier to hide behind furniture (the base of the other versions are rather large or are illuminated). I didn't need anything fancy, just a light I could turn on from the living room with my phone before reaching my bedroom at night. Because I can control the brightness and it's meant to face towards the wall, which softens the light, it's the perfect ambient brightness without being too harsh. As it's currently January, I have it (and all my other Govee lights) set to a bluish white to evoke the feelings of cold...despite living in the south of the U.S. and having had a very warm winter so far, lol. I've not played with all of its settings but as I have other Govee devices, I kind of already know what it can do. I would include photos, but my bedroom is a work in progress and my camera wouldn't do the light justice
