Nice Lamp for the money, but Lyra is nicer

I previously purchased two of the Lyra lamps, and I love them. I decided to try this smart corner lamp too. It looks a lot like the Lyra, but is sleeker at the base and cost about half as much. Side by side, the Lyra is nicer, because the colors blend better and you can't see the individual LED elements through the diffuser on the Lyra. Also the Lyra has a remote, which is easier than using the smart phone app. After trying out the smart corner lamp I decided it was a good value, and ordered a second one. It's a good price for what you get. But if you want a prettier and more functional version of this, I recommend the Lyra.

Cool light, but not bright enough for my needs.

This light is nice, setup was fairly easy, and it does some really cool things. My issue is that I bought it specifically to fit in an area where a traditional floor lamp won't, which it does due to its compact footprint, but it's not very bright. I was hoping to get a good, bright light out of it and that's just not the case. If you're looking for a fun light to add a splash of color, or even changing patterns, to a room then I highly recommend this one. If you need bright light in a dimly lit area, this may not be the lamp for you.

Lamp is great, app is difficult to use

I love the size, color and output of the lamp. It's very hard to navigate the app and set routines.
The app is set up to show the random patterns and flashes it can do. But setting it to be a warm glow in the evening seems to quite difficult. Hue app is easier to use, and I can't believe I'm saying this but the Govee app makes the Alexa app seem user friendly.

Best home theatre & studio investment!

My home studio and him theatre both look amazing with these lights. The app makes everything easy and al lights sync and work in tandem. I'm going to keep adding more Govee lights in the future. I recommend these lights to everyone as they are very affordable too!
