I purchased the Vitamix 5200 because green smoothies are in my life to stay. I couldn’t get past the flax and chia seeds from my old blender. The 5200 didn’t disappoint. My smoothies come out as smooth as silk.

We are so happy we bought the 5200 Vitamix. Since Covid, we have been eating at home mostly all the time. We are now eating healthier food because we bought this blender. The Vitamix easily makes your favorite frozen fruit into creamy delicious desserts. It's fast too! We put frozen bananas, a splash of skim milk, and a lot of 100% cocoa powder in there, and in 15 seconds we have an outrageously fantastic dessert. With no guilt! Sometimes we skip the cocoa and put frozen organic blueberries in. You can use the tamper to push the fruit down while the Vitamix is on and it works well. I used to make brownies, chocolate chip cookies, etc. and now we get actual nutrition and never feel deprived!
We store the Vitamix under the counter because it's too tall to fit under our cabinets. I wash the plastic jug with a paper towel soaked with water and dish soap. The jug is super light and the paper towel fits under the blades pretty easily. I know you can wash the Vitamix by just turning it on with soapy water inside, but I feel better washing the whole jug inside and out.
I do have to hold the Vitamix down when I move the speed dial to 10, it vibrates a lot and would inch it's way right off the counter.
Not sure if this is a thing, but now that we have these healthy desserts (with no sugar) after dinner we think have been sleeping better! We are very happy with this purchase.

I love being able to make so many things in this: sauces, nut butters, soups, salsas, drinks, smoothies, ice cream! This machine does it all! In my house, we use ours everyday. It may have been a bit pricey for us, but it was well worth every penny spent.

So far, this blender is excellent! It blends to a smoother consistency than other blenders I've tried. It is one of the more quiet ones as well. and it is easy to use with the pop on/off lid and easy seating design of the pitcher onto the base.
