I purchased my vitamix right before lockdown. I’m so glad I did. I’m 3 months pregnant and looking to incorporate more vitamins and fruit/veg into my diet. I’ve made banana, spinach, flax seed, greek yogurt smoothies with coconut water as well as butternut squash soup. I’m am so impressed with the power and ease of use. My smoothies have a perfect consistency, they’re smooth, no chucks, no little bits clogging up the straw. One of my favorite features is that the vitamin is self cleaning! So much easier to use than my old nutribullet That had to be disassembled and clean up is so much faster. Hands down one of my favorite kitchen appliances!

I bought the classic 5200 Vitamix for my 20th wedding anniversary after many years of thinking about it. Why did I wait so long?! I’ve used it everyday making everything from salsas to smoothies. I love it! I was using a ninja before. It doesn’t even compare. After making my first salsa, I exclaimed, now this is what a salsa should look like! I definitely recommend the Vitamix 5200.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power
I finally made the decision the purchase my Vitamix 2 months ago. Best decision and worth the investigate. It blends my green smoothies to perfection, and making ice cream is a breeze. I love it!

Before purchasing my Vitamix I had recommendations from family and friends and I had the opportunity to use my sisters vitamix. So I got the opportunity to test the machine before purchasing. Since purchasing it has met all my expectations and I am very happy.

My husband bought this machine 10 years ago and we love it. We have made green smoothies, cashew yogurt, soup, chutneys in the wet jar. We grind flax and chia seeds, make flour from oats and buckwheat often in the dry jar. We like the ease of use and cleaning. I am an MD that advises whole foods, plant based diets for preventing disease and promoting health. This appliance helps us to have healthy meals and snacks that are tasty and convenient enough for my family.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Product features, Power
I had been considering a Vitamix for a few years, but I could never bring myself to pay so much for a blender. I have always been fascinated by the video demonstrations, but questioned if it could really replace 13 different small kitchen appliances like it claims. Since Vitamix comes with a 30 money back guarantee, I finally decided to bite the bullet & give it a try. I challenged myself to use the Vitamix at least every 3 days for 3 weeks. If I didn't use it at least 2-3 times a week, then I was going to return it.
After the first week, I knew there is no way I would ever own another blender. The Vitamix is THAT wonderful! The first recipe I tried was the broccoli cheddar soup. SO velvety! I regularly eat soup for lunch. Now, I can make homemade soup in 5 minutes & it is healthy & delicious. The second recipe was an orange julius. Exactly like at Orange Julius with the same smooth texture. No more chewing smoothies for me! Third recipe, shredding blocks of cheese. Forget hand shredding. The Vitamix can shred the cheese in less than 30 seconds (in small batches). Fourth recipe, crepes! I have made crepes in my old blender, but these were much more luxurious. Fifth recipe, peach sorbet. Perfection. In less than 3 minutes! The Vitamix is amazing!
The only thing that I have found that doesn't work exactly like in the video demos is the cleaning. Certain foods, like carrots, leave a bit of a film that will not come off by just adding soap to the blender & turning it on for 15 seconds. You will need to actually take a sponge or paper towel & wipe off the film. Very easy, but an extra step. Again, only for certain foods.
I have now owned my Vitamix for about 2 months & still use it almost daily. I still LOVE IT! Once you get the basics of how to operate it with different foods, you constantly want to experiment with new concoctions. Definitely worth every penny!
