I bought my Vitamix alittle over a month ago and I am very happy that I finally decided to shell out that $500.00 plus dollars. I no longer have to chew my smoothie. I don't have to worry about cleaning a dangerous blade. My smoothie doesn't separate when refrigerated. It came well packaged, it easy to operate and understand. If you are sceptical about spending that type of money, don't be. Its worth every penny. You will not regret it.

I bought my Vitamix 2010 and use it every single day, sometimes several times a day. It's still like brand new! I couldn't live without it. I make big smoothies, lots of vegan nut based sauces and soups in mine.
