This Vitamix is the most basic out of all the models, but for me it’s one of the best because there’s no delay and you can control everything yourself. This thing shreds and blends anything. It can successfully ground nuts and even butter them in just a few minutes.

I bought this because my little gir. She can have pureed foods but she also has a pegtube. Which if she doesn't eat it. I put it back in the Vitamix and make it thin enough that i can put it thru the tube.

Hi, I bought this from the Navy Exchange in San Diego in 1988, still to this day it works like new. I really love what it can do. I would like to upgrade to a better machine when I can afford it.

This is my second Vitamix. We had the first one for 8 years and its still going but starting to slow down a bit because it gets used at least twice a day. We're smoothie freaks in this house, not to mention sauces like pesto that I always keep on hand. My friends and family have "blenders" and always hated smoothies until they had one made in this...the smoothest, creamiest, pro-smoothies ever. Now everyone has one! My grand daughter thinks she always gets "ice cream" at Nana's, but its nice-cream made with frozen fruits and veggies. The best purchase you'll ever make.
