We needed a blender that would essentially liquified food to go through our daughter's feeding tube and Vitamix was the name that came up time and again as the best blender for the job. And they were right. We've had this blender for about 2 months and use it almost daily. It does a lot more but we couldn't be happier!
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power
I am so happy we got the vitamix! Our daughter is unable to eat solid food, however she can eat purées! Vitamix allows me to blenderize her food so smooth that she can enjoy what we are eating aswell. It also allows me to feed our foods we eat through her feeding tube. I dilute the foods with a broth, water or milk until desired consistency. This has changed our lives because now our daughter can take part in meal times and enjoy tastes of the food that we eat together. Thank you vitamix for creating such a powerful tool.
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
I bought this to help make my life a little easier when preparing my sons daily diet, as he has to be fed via a g-tube. I am so extremely please with how efficient it is, how smooth it blends, and how quiet it is for a high quality blender! I would definitely recommend it 1000 times over! Best purchase of a blender ever!

I love my Vitamix! it blends EVERYTHING! I use it daily for every meal of the day. This is my second blender, the first one lasted 7 years and we replaced it after the bearings in the bottom of the jar began to wear out...the only reason we replaced the base/motor is because my wife wanted a different color. I have lost 55 lbs over the last 2 years, and I am maintaining my ideal weight by using this every day to eat a plant based whole food diet. with the cheaper quality, "other" blenders, the smoothie was always chunky and made me gag! Not so with my Vitamix! I love the smooth almost creamy texture veggies and fruit have when blended in the Vitamix. I make flour with my vitamix, I make dry rubs and seasoning mixes with it, I make gespacho (cold soups) even though you can make cooked soup from scratch. I make powdered sugar with it, nut butter and nut milks...the list goes on and on. Recently we made whole wheat buttermilk biscuits (I know not completely plant based) then let them harden on the counter so we could blend them to make bread crumbs to cook green tomatoes and eggplant with...too many ways to list that I depend on my Vitamix.

Every day we’re home, we’ve used the Vitamix at least twice. It’s the only way we can get the amounts of whole raw vegetables for optimum nutrition. Anotexics, diabetics, cancer patients and many others should consider it a basic necessity, we have considered it such for nearly 30 years.
