I bought my Vitamix about a month ago after my first Vitamix was starting to wear down (which I purchased 20 years ago); the container cracked and the motor was starting to get sluggish. I have not been kind to my previous blender and used it almost everyday, lent it to friends for parties, etc. I didn't even consider replacing it with any other blender! I love my new Vitamix, I've used it to make smoothies, salsa's, margarita's, guacamole, and much more! It's been great. Blends evenly and takes a lot of the chopping and cutting out of the picture. Just dump it in ... the blender can take it! I'm a fan for life and look forward to the next 20 years with my Vitamix.

We've had our Vitamix for a little more than a month now. It's not as loud as some reviews state. It is a bit bulky but it feels very solid. A bit pricey but worth it. Very happy with our purchase
