My kitchen super star!

My Vitamix Super 5200 model vm0103 is still a star at almost 15 years old. Always reliable. Never any broken parts. I've used it mainly for smoothies and sauces but have also made soups. It is amazing. I love to drink my breakfast so every morning I have a smoothie. A breeze to clean. The 64 oz container that I use is still in great shape after all these years.
I feel ok with my blender. Its nice... but I'm not blown away. It seems to blend the bottom real well. But then it gets the top layer stuck, and i have to use the tapper to get it to blend. I am disappointed, as my ninja can do the same thing. I bought it to blend smoothies and to blend up cashews for dairy free creams, sauces, etc. I haven't yet tried my cashews in this blender, since the performance with my daily smoothies is comparable to my ninja, i assume the cashews will blend the same as well. I'll update my review, if I am able to, after trying it with cashews. So, its ok, its nice, but not a huge major difference in end results, and must use the tapper alot.
Powerful and quality build but prefer my prior blender, Ninja BL610, which has staggered blades that did a better job crushing frozen fruits and hard veggies and mixing evenly protein powder.
I am so happy with my purchase. Used different blenders but so far this is the most excellent blender I have used since it makes me nice smoothie and blends vegetables perfect. Does not leave any particles while blending baby spinach, spring mix, etc
Pros: Programability, Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power
Sometimes it makes very loud noise, as if the motor gets stuck when I’m just making smoothie. Very finicky if I have to use it to make smoothie because it will create a void and stop circulating the liquid. Weird smell comes out from the base (where the container meets the base) when I let it run for no longer than a minute.
If you are ordering a Vitamix they add the comment, "People who ordered this also ordered..." and show the tamper, implying that the tamper is not included with the order. I ordered a tamper with the Vitamix and ended up paying for one twice since they do give it to you with the machine.
