Subpar warranty

Just beware of the warranty, if your someone who depends on this unit for dietary reasons and it gives out they do not replace units at all. You will have to have your unit refurbished. And if they find that it was caused due to neglegence they won't fix it so at the price point it leaves a lot to be desired. I can buy 5 ninja blenders and they have an amazing warranty.

Great machime made in America.

1/2 I bought a Vita-Mix Super 5000 about 12 or 13 years ago. I have always try to buy the best for my family.
And after falling victim of this late night informacials, that want to convince you that their products are good for you, go as far as to insult your intelligence.
They plant the seed of doubt in you system in such a way, so as to compromise your ability to turn a (rehostat) or as it's called, a speed selector to adjust the right texture for your specific need.
They continue to talk in circles until they convince you to buy. But I learned my lesson and this time followed my intelligence and good instincts, and that is when I bought this monster of a machine. The Vita Mix super 5000.

We bought our Vitamax 5200 three months ago and couldn't be happier. The machine is a little intimidating at first, but once you get comfortable with it, it's super easy to use and lives up to the hype about its performance capabilities. I use it nearly every morning to make smoothies, and the best part is that it's so easy to clean. Just some water, a few drops of soap and the blender does the hard part.
Would recommend this model to anyone.

works good, but not as good as imagined for the high price tag, I still have to stop the blender and mix with a spoon to get it to continue, like i did with my last blender that cost a fraction of the price. a bit disappointing. other then that, we like it..

Third 5200, this motor hesitates before getting up to speed - an intentional feature to ease up to full power, or a defect? Reason I'm leaning towards the later is one time it hummed without turning like stuck, then finally turned when I dialed it up. It certainly is giving me pause. The other issue is that when the blade initially turns at low speeds, there is a clicking noise, as if the bearings had not been packed. If I don't hear back from you here, I will be in touch with Customer Service.

My Vitamix had an error message immediately after I ran the wash cycle. The machine did not get overheated. Error message will show if Vitamix is left on; not running but on. If I put small quantities in the container the error message will appear again.

The E1 error code you have received is an Internal Communication Error. To clear the error code, we recommend cycling the power switch from the "On" to the "Off" position, waiting five seconds and then turning the power switch back to the "On" position. Please note that it may take a few attempts to clear the error code. This error code will appear if the machine needs to be recalibrated.

Obsessed!! We use our new vitamix twice a day. Our smoothies have gotten healthier since now I can add tons of greens and seeds and everything gets blended into an ultra smooth mixture. Also love that it heats our sauces so our plant cheese is ready to go once the macaroni is cooked. I don’t know how I lived without this machine!
