I have wanted a good blender for 15 years and finally treated myself. I use it every single day. It makes incredibly smooth, perfect smoothies. It makes dips, dressings, anything you need to blend beautifully. It turns almonds into a creamy amazing chipotle dip. I can’t wait to make more things with it. I’ve only had it just over a month and I’m so glad I got it.

Powerful but container is not dishwasher safe

A deficiency of this powerful blender (Vitamix 5200) is that the ingredients Container is NOT dishwasher safe. I mistakenly assumed it would be dishwasher safe. Our diushwasher is hot water only but it might damage the container apparently. That's disappointing. I would not recommend this blender, at this price, due to that fact.

Hi! We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in not being able to put your container in the dishwasher, however it is really easy to clean! Simply put some warm water and a drop of dish soap in the container and run on high for about 40-50 seconds, rinse and dry! That's all!

Love this blender. I purchased this blender in 2009. My blender finally started having issues so I had to replace it. I use this blender every day to make smoothies. I replaced this blender with another 5200 and I am so happy that I did.

I love this product! I thought it was just a great quality blender, but it is in its own league! I've been eating mostly vegan now for three years. Last night I made my vegan nacho cheese sauce. It was hands down the best it has EVER been. And, I didn't have to cook it on the stove top after the blend, as the blender itself brought it to perfect temp. I LOVE my 5200!
