This thing just makes amazing smoothies. Life-changing from my previous blender, which I see now was underpowered and also did not love me enough to pulverize the seeds in my frozen blackberries. I drink a smoothie every day and this blender is the one to have for that purpose.

Expensive blender but so far everything I've expected it to be. I use is 2x-4x times per week for smoothies. My fiance and I used it to create a velvety consistency for a soup we made a few weeks ago. The real test of the value for this product will be in how long it lasts (hopefully 5-10 years or more). Overall, I expect this will have been a great purchase.

I’ve had a lot of blenders in my life and none of them have been as straightforward and reliable as this one. It does everything great, without the fuss of a ton of special mixing options. I’ve make smoothies everyday, and never had an issue. I’ve done purées, soups, and blended up some pretty tough ingredients…. Never an issue. I once didn’t add enough liquid to a smoothie. The machine recognized its overheating, shut off off 15 min, and then I got back to using it without issue. (It’s a safety feature on these, as to avoid permanent damage) This is just a no nonsense tool for the kitchen. Oh, and bc it’s not pack with, what I consider to be, unnecessary features, it’s a breeze to clean and maintain.

I finally upgraded from my old Magic Bullet and I'm so glad I did. The 5200 is super easy to use, no frills or confusing complicated attachments. I could immediately start using the blender to make smoothies, ice-cream, pina coladas and shakes. Even the clean up is simple because it self cleans with a small squirt of Dawn dish soap. I like my smoothies thick and creamy but my nephew likes his smoothies with a thinner consistency like juice. It's such a piece of cake to customize because of the powerful ability of the motor to blend finely the toughest ingredients. I can't wait to try more recipes.
