This is my SECOND 5200 Vitamix! I had my first one for over 20 years. I thought I could save some money so I purchased another brand for less money. Boy, was I disappointed! I heard so much about the Vitamix but never owned one. When my blender stopped working I reviewed my needs and decided to get a blender and not a food processor. I spoke to several people who owned one and they rave about it. I read reviewed (both pro and con) and also looked at You tube videos and decided this was the one for me. I am so happy with my decision - its easy to use, works well and clean up is easy. I will be ordering more parts so I can use it for many more applications.

I use a blender almost daily and have for probably the last 30 or 40 years. It is a kitchen essential for me. I have had my Vitamix 5200 for several months now and can't rave about it enough! It works beautifully, is quiet, powerful, and easy to clean. It fits well on the counter right under the upper cupboard next to the sink, so it is always handy and doesn't need to be pulled from a cupboard. Our daily breakfast smoothies come out silky smooth in a matter of seconds, and I have yet to find anything it can't handle effortlessly. I highly recommend this wonderful blender. Furthermore, it is very highly rated for durability and ease of use by my consumer bible - Consumer Reports. I couldn't ask for more!
