I bought my Vitamix a year ago and LOVE it! I also have a food processor as well. I use my Vitamix so often that I thought by using it so much it would ware out a lot quicker. I have got to give it to the designers of this product because it is still going strong and I have not needed any kid of replacement parts. Woot woot. My blender has seen it all from easy to loads of ingredients in it and it works like a piece of art! I would recommend this product by far! They last for decades!

I've used it several times, I like the narrow container so that all seeds, veg. & fruit get ground up really well. Other blenders, I still had seeds to deal with in my drink. This blender complete grinds up the seeds.

I have had my 5200 for a year now. I use it every day to make a smoothie and have tried other recipes from the website including soups. I love this machine! Not only does it work better than any other blender I have owned, it is also easy to clean following the directions.

We love this blender. Our family drinks a smoothie everyday for lunch and it’s amazing how smith everything blends. (We had our ninja that was great for two years but still never as smooth as this. The nutribullet was ok for small cups but the lid would leak oils ) Frozen fruits don’t stand a chance :)
The only regret I have is not upgrading to different model so I have option for other accessories. I though the base for particular model would work with a food processor attachment

It's been a few weeks since I've had my Vitamix 5200, and I'm so glad I took the plunge and purchased one. I'd been eyeing it for awhile. Because I never do things simply, my first blend was bread dough, and although there is always a learning curve with using a new product, the final bread was just perfect. Since then I've made hummus, hot chocolate, and some fruit sauce, and everything was great!
The controls are easy to use, and they give you great control! The blender looks and feels more high-quality than I anticipated, and I am not disappointed in any way. Oh, as a bonus, it is so easy to clean! If you've been thinking about buying, I say go for it!
