I bought this over 7yrs ago. This thing is a no frills workhorse. I traded (up?) for a newer model since I got a good deal and I was sick of this not fitting under my counter (can buy a low profile pitcher but they are expensive). I don't like that the new self detect pitchers don't fit on this one.

Fast service, received my blender 3 days after ordering. And, this was the last of December! Everything was in good condition. Very easy to set up and manual was very helpful for a newbie, like me! Recipes in the book that came with it have been easy to follow. I have never had a blender so powerful. I no longer have bits of fruit, vegetables, or ice in my smoothies. They are so smooth now! I am looking forward to learning new recipes and techniques with my 5200.

Love this machine. I sent my original Vitamix (20years old) to college with my daughter and treated myself to a new one. I prefer this model because I tried the cheaper one with Pulse feature but DID NOT like. This is used practically every day!!
