So useful its like a family member!

After 16 years I still love my Vitamix! It is a breeze to whip up favorites like smoothies, macadamia nut butter, banana nice cream, strawberry soft serve, avocado chocolate frosting, salsa, and the list goes on and on. I even use it to bring up eggshells that I've boiled and baked (to clean them) into calcium power and then I add 1 t to my smoothies to give me strong bones! The list goes on! LOVE this machine. I hope to bequeath it to relatives in my will! It is that sturdy! And bonus - It takes seconds to rinse or wash! My kind of appliance!

Great item, especially for a new vegan!

I had a old blender that I used for sometime, but when I went vegan I wanted to upgrade to a new level so I could blend my own smoothies, nut milk/butters, sauces, soups, etc. I was thinking I would be using this maybe every other week, but I'm almost using it several times a week! Best investment I have bought in a long time!

I had a cheap Hamilton blender that my wife hated. I didn't know that there was a difference in blenders. But after buying this monster, i was blown away by the sheer quality and power. What a difference. We will be vitamix customers for life.
