I love my new Vitamix! It blends so much more smoothly than my previous blender, plus I can make more at one time. I have only used it for smoothies so far. I like the classic, tall cup, but if you have a shallow or small sink, it could be cumbersome to rinse out. Also, it's not as quiet as I thought it'd be, but it works so well, I don't care.

I've only had my Vitamix for a few days, but so far I love it! it blends frozen fruit, whole fruit, kale, spinach, and ice into a buttery consistency in less than 60 seconds. I've never been able to get such a great smoothie consistency unless I buy a smoothie from a shop. It's not nearly as loud as I was expecting it to be while on high as I read a lot of negative reviews on how ear piercing it is. I've had many blenders louder and more obnoxious than this one. It also didn't move and jump around on the counter on high speed as I've heard others say online. So far I'm very impressed, and can't wait to make more with it.
However, I do worry seeing many bad reviews on them failing early. At least there's that 7 year warranty, though. So time will tell if it holds up to daily smoothies and other recipes. Hopefully for the price it will last a long time if not a life time.

I have been wanting a Vitamix for 20 years and I'm so glad I finally got one! My daughter and I can't stop using it and we make at least one thing in it every day--smoothies, juices, soups, sauces. The only thing we haven't made yet is ice cream, but I'm sure that's coming soon. We both feel so healthy and energetic eating fresh, real foods from nature. I look forward to many years of enjoying the benefits of my new Vitamix!

You can make your own almond milk butter smoothies ice cream and you can save yourself tons of money and live a lot healthier. I bought it for my daughter and her family and the grandson makes himself a smoothie for breakfast. He is 17 and cares about healthy living

The strength of the Vitamix is exceptional. My only minor complaint would be that there seems to be no middle ground between extreme blending and light blending. I find that at times, I can’t get the correct strength to blend ice to my liking; it either doesn’t blend it enough or blends it to the point where it’s almost a liquid...it could also be my timing or lack of experience with the machine. Otherwise, it’s amazing!

Great I hate that if you put a big frozen chuck of food in, it as slows to a stop a bit but otherwise great. I've only made smoothies and dips do far.
