Love the wireless/mobile printing features, easy setup. I wish the labels were non-proprietary but that's my only complaint

Educational Demands Put Brother to the Test

The Brother QL-1110NWB was purchased for a busy science office in higher education. Used primarily for folder labels, we have found many other uses for it. For labels, it excels. Fast and easy set-up. The software is basic and easy to use right out of the box. The unit is quite flexible with various size tape dispensers. We now label our daily activity board, our lab materials, files, letters and just about everything we can apply a label to! The university IT department did have to set up the wireless networking for us, but aside from that, it was easy to assemble and operate. Highly recommend this product for office applications.

Does not work as adviced

I purchased this printer for use in a business to print automatically generated shipping labels from my ipad. Unfortunately, the only way this machine works from ipad/iphone is to print from the iPrint&Label app. It will not allow you to print anything else. I can not emphasise that enough. This printer will not print anything except for labels from the iPrint&Label app. IT WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE. The one saving grace is that you can load photos (or screenshots) in to the iPrint app. So, to print something, I have to take a screen shot, load that screen shot in to the app, crop it to the correct size, and finally print it. The printer is extremely high priced compared to other label printers. I thought it would be worth it for the wireless features, but it just isn't. Unless you can't find any other options, I would highly suggest you not buy this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The lane with the ease of use for all

Hello,This was my first experience with a label printer. I found the instructions to be quite easy. Within 5 minutes I had a bunch of labels printed for my containers in my kitchen and ask for my documents at my law firm. Would highly recommend to anyone who isn`t looking to spend a lot of time and energy expenditure on learning a new product. The quality of the ink and font was what surprised me the most.

Compared to other label printers I`ve used this one has been the best so far and I look forward to continue using it. This product does exactly what it`s supposed to and I would recommend it.

I wasn`t really in the market for a label maker, but once I started using the Brother label printer, I can`t imagine not having it at my disposal. I didn`t think I would use this product more then every once in a while, but in my few weeks having it, I find myself going out of my way to print a label for almost anything I could think to label. I really appreciated how easy the set up was. Instructions were clear and it was pretty much ready to use right out of the box. My favorite thing about the label maker is that it is wifi and bluetooth compatible, so it`s so easy to just print things straight from my laptop. If you are on the fence about this product I recommend trying it out!
