It's a game changer

I've been using Fenix series watches for many years, and even though I love them during the day, I find them uncomfortable to sleep with. I've tried many different alternatives to track my sleep, and up until now, I've settled on an Oura ring, but having my sleep data living in one app and all the activity data in the other has always been annoying. Now I no longer need to compromise - the new sleep monitor is so comfortable I don't even feel it on my shoulder, and I get accurate sleep data in my Connect app now. If there was one thing I could change, it would be the battery life - having about a week of it is not bad, but considering that I need to charge my watch only about once a month, it feels like it could have been better.
I was having trouble with my watch capturing my full nights sleep. I have had this for 2 weeks and it is so much more accurate. I now feel I can make changes to my routine and evaluate how they impact my sleep.
I was looking forward to try this device. So comfortable and thin, I’m a side sleeper and could barely feel it while wearing it. I loved the alarm and how you can snooze it. It would be perfect if it wasn’t for those two nights in 2 weeks that I had it that it didn’t record my sleep. I followed the instructions about waking it up before using it but still not sure why. I decided to return it because it was too expensive for that intermittent functioning.
This is a comfortable sleep monitor and great for those like me who don't want to sleep with their watch. You barely notice the armband once it is on and the battery lasts for about a week.
I first ordered a sleep monitor about a month ago, but I was told by Garmin to send it back for a new one. I was also told this is a brand new product type and a first version. The new one monitor seems to work properly. The app doesn’t seem have to a notification option for battery level. Adding a battery notification would be most helpful. It’s a good first try. Keep up the good work, Garmin.
While the cuff is quite comfortable and doesn’t impact my sleep, the device itself sticks to my skin and feels kinda weird when I remove it in the morning. I wear it loose to minimize this but it doesn’t seem to help. I also wish it had more features like real time heart rate tracking for how expensive it is. Overall it does what it is supposed to do, and gives my wrist a break each night. I use my smart watch as a running coach, so it’s great to have my sleep data added to Garmin Connect.
Fit and feel of this product is great, but the Bluetooth set up needs to be more comprehensive. Directions given are not adequate. I had to go out to Garmin help for the proper procedure to on board the Bluetooth. This was very frustrating as all my other Garmin products connected with ease. Overall, the product work great.
