GOALS: Seeking light travel-friendly unit with features of multiple high quality screens, capable processor, ample memory, generous storage, high innovation, efficiency, and integration for the purpose of heavy business, media, and communication use, light-to-no gaming, forward-AI compatible features... which won't break the bank or require any manual maintenance over its lifetime use. Perfect for my use locations of rooms at home to office stations, hotel rooms to boardrooms, and mountain cabins to beach resorts. If ASUS continues to evolve this product line, I will be carrying one from nursing home to deathbed.
RESULT: Perfect unit found. Bravo Asus!
CAVEATS: Requires gentle handling due to its near weightless design. Though the high refresh OLED touch screens quality are marvels of design and engineering, it isn't likely to handle long sessions of intensive high-FPS gaming, nor similarly intensive compiles or rendering. 2025 ASUS Duo - running Linux Mint on VMwarePro17

I have the 2025 Model: UX8406CA. Extremely well designed and functional. My work requires using Linux. The ASUS Zenbook Duo does this flawlessly, but only with VMWare Workstation Pro, not WSL2/WSLg or booting directly to Linux. The combination is flawless. Windows 11 takes care of all of the modern hardware. Doing this with Linux takes a very current Kernel, only in Fedora and not Ubuntu. Really awesome computer. Quiet, fast, bright screens, great audio, and extraordinary flexibility.

I'm very dissatisfied. Advertised with pen 2.0. No pen included. Advertised with OLED panels. No OLED panels. Only 60 Hz refresh rate. Panels are at different brightness. Battery does not last long. Does not remember my settings. This machine is a gimmick. I feel ripped off.

I bought this because the Vivobook was defective and I returned it. I charged this device 5 hours and when I pressed the power button it would initiate a screen. I couldn’t turn it off. I was going to return it one day after purchase. I was in airport talking to a young man about my laptop experience, I opened it up and it started running. I haven’t returned it yet because I needed it for a project. I stay may replace it. Must find a way to not be charged for the Microsoft and McAfee trials I signed up for.

This laptop will black screen temporarily, do several system reboots, or restart during the initial Windows setup and update process.
