Quality Cover and keyboard

Right off the bat if you compare the regular cover to the keyboard one the texture on the regular non keyboard cover feels a lot better. The keyboard cover has a texture that make my blood crawl a little if I rub or trace my palm against it a fews times. If you’re a person sensitive to that, stay away. I can put up with it, the other issue is this is a two piece cover so it can slide around a bit if you’re not conscious of it and maybe if fall out the hand. It’s nice though that if you want to separate and not have the keyboard it’s simple. The mouse trackpad is good on this however with the S7 pen and or touching the screen it may not be useful, depends on user. It’s quality not denying and these are nitpicks but worth noting at the hefty price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This clamps magnetically to the tablet, also holds the pen securely, nice carrying around.

Should not be states as compatible with S7+

I read through the product description and the first point states it is compatible with the S7+. While technically the keyboard connects, NOTHING else is compatible. The backplate is obviously too small and it magnetizes to the top of the tablet which leads to it giving very poor support. Due to lockdown I won't be able to return this until after the sale is done and would have to buy the larger one at full price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Steer clear from this one - it's the billingual version with the bad keyboard and funky characters. Also the enter button is thin and vertical, so bad!

Flawed but still pretty good

I have owned a Surface Pro, a Surface Pro 3, a Surface Go and a Galaxy Tab S4 that all had the original manifacturers keyboard so I have a llittle experience in EOM keyboards. I have to say that this keyboard is not as bad as people make it out to be. I almost did not buy it because of these reviews and I am glad I ignored them. Having said that I will admit a few things:
- Yes the small enter key is a little annoying
- Yes it has french characters but if you know where the key's are instictually it should not matter too much
- Yes the left shift key is a little small but you get used to it really quickly
- When folded, it is a little wobbley but it's not crazy.
- There is no backlight

The keys feel great and I can overlook all the flaws mostly because I paid 129$. I do think that Samsung has lost their marbles by asking over 300$ for a keyboard.
The other main reason why this is a good buy for me at 129 is that the 3th party cases are 99% of the time very low quality and the OEM's are almost always a better build quality. The kickstand and pen pouch are good examples as they are really, really good.
Some people mention that there are mysterious or useless keys... Those are Android keys and are on 99% of Android keyboards. I don't see how that's a problem.
So to recap yes it's not perfect but it's also not terrible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great keyboard, no protective case

Biggest downfall - this leaves the tablet edging exposed! I really wish it would of came with something to go around the edges. This cover would NOT protect the unit at all - a big drop and the magnetic case would come off and no edging protection would result in big damage. I am adding a screen protector. Keyboard is very responsive and I love that it has a mousepad. It is definitely over priced - I would not have purchased for $279.99 - I got it on sale.

Bad bilingual keyboard for Canada itwiil be a seri

It is a strange keyboard layout because is is bilingual for french and english the number keys symbols are very difficult to find especially the @ symbol and the ? symbol I spent several hours with Samsung and the problem was not solved the user will have to learn to toggle between the keyboard languages to obtain the symbols. figuring that out in itself is a real challenge. Buyer beware

What you have to know about this is that the keyboard is bilingual. If you’re used to a US English style keyboard this will throw you off.
