Easy to install yes. Not as good as the V1P Max. Can not adjust the front camera lens will have to move camera. Does not have a sleep mode option to auto dim while driving. Does what it was designed to do though clarity is alright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Rexing for over 7 years and I bought total 9 dashcams for whole my family and friends and helped them to installed with hardware kit. Only one dashcam has failed after 1 year and they replaced new one for me but the replacement one was failed the same issue. So they gave me some credit to buy new dashcam and I still choosing them as the dashcam company for my dad's car. Still easy to install and the picture quality is very nice. Since I have Rexing dashcam, it saved me twice when someone hit me on the road so I can't go outside without the dashcam, Rexing has been great for me tho. I would like to recommend their dashcam to everyone who needs one for your car. The product quality, the recording day and night is perfect. This dashcam comes with everything you need to install it even with hardware kid and SD card. The only complain is I wish Rexing treat me as value customer after several years of trusting them and when their product failed no matter what, they should replace a new one for me instead of give me some credit and I have to pay more to buy new one.

Fantastic dual camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used and owned multiple Rexing cameras in the past, I decided to buy a new 4K dual version.
4K resolution is great, much better video quality compared to previous non-4K versions.
The unit itself is a bit smaller than previous cameras I've owned. You can mount it up high and out of the way and still have access to the controls and adjustments.
Another great feature about the V1P SE is the built in WIFI. It makes using the functions a breeze through out. Instead of having to take the internal SD card out and then view it on a computer, you can view it right on your phone. This feature alone is extremely handy over some previous generations of cameras.
The CPL filter is also a nice bonus. Glare from a direct rising sun is not so much of a problem with the filter in place. With the filter I've noticed that the glare is significantly reduced, and the video is much clearer.
Overall, a very nice dual camera and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I got one around Christmas and hardwiring it was painless. Everything needed was in the kit and instructions were easy to follow. The picture quality is great as well. Will recommend to all who need a dash cam!

This model is awesome. The clarity of recordings is excellent. I owned an earlier model which was a little quirky & finally died from the hot Florida sun. I purchased this new model & was able to use my existing cables. It was up & running in less than 20 minutes.
